I never liked going to the dentist. Then my dentist retired and referred me to Dr. Yap. I've never been happier for someone to retire! From my first visit to Dr. Yap, 15 years ago, until today, I've always been treated with the utmost care and professionalism. She quickly became the dentist for the entire family. When I need to have a procedure, Dr. Yap takes as much time as needed to be sure I understand it. When I gag during X-rays, Dr. Yap and her staff are patient and understanding, even coming up with new ways to make it easier for me. I don't get anxious anymore. When I had a dental emergency after hours and called her answering service, Dr. Yap called me back right away, got my pain under control and arranged to see me as soon as possible. When my son was 7 and needed to have a local anesthetic given by a needle, Dr. Yap distracted him so masterfully and used such expert technique that he never even knew she gave it!
